Authect building a high-performance website

// WHEN TO CALL US

Most sites are dead weight.

You're probably here because one of these is true. Here's what we do about each.

  1. 001

    Slow loads

    Heavy themes, plugin soup.

    Bloated builders, render-blocking scripts, animations that stutter on real phones. Visitors bounce before the headline lands.

    What we doWe hand-build the site on Next.js with no page builder, no plugin stack and images tuned per device, so pages load in well under a second on a real phone and stay that way after every release.

  2. 002

    Poor SEO

    Search can’t read it.

    Broken Core Web Vitals, missing schema, JS-only content. Crawlers move on, traffic dies, paid ads fund the leak.

    What we doWe ship every page with structured data, sitemap, semantic HTML and server-rendered content, then tune Core Web Vitals on each release, so search engines can read all of it and rank it.

  3. 003

    Conversion blind

    No funnel, no story.

    No clear path from landing to action. No analytics worth reading. Visitors arrive, look around, and leave silently.

    What we doWe design the path from landing to enquiry into the site: clear calls to action, forms that work, and analytics events on the moments that matter, so you can see what converts and what doesn't.

  4. 004

    Locked in

    Templates you can’t extend.

    Page builders that fight you on every change. Vendor lock-in on hosting, CMS, and updates. Every iteration is a workaround.

    What we doYou get a codebase on standard tools, a CMS modelled around your editors and full ownership of the repository and domain. Changes are a normal edit, not a workaround.

Built for the web. Not for templates.

Frequently asked questions.

// FAQ

What tech do you build on?
Next.js, React, TypeScript and Tailwind on the front end. For content editing we use Sanity, Payload or Shopify, depending on who edits the site and what it sells. Hosting is on Vercel or Cloudflare, so pages are served fast from locations close to your visitors. We pick the smallest stack that does the job well, because every extra tool is one more thing to maintain.
How long does a site take?
Landing pages take 1–2 weeks. Marketing and company sites take 3–6 weeks, depending on the number of page templates, integrations and languages. Larger multi-language builds are scoped individually, and in every case you get a confirmed timeline before we start.
Do you work from existing designs?
Yes. We build from your Figma files or design system and match them on every screen size. We can work alongside your designer during the build, or recommend designers we trust if you don't have one yet.
Who owns the code?
You do. The code, content, designs and domain are yours, and at launch we hand over the repository and documentation. The site runs on standard, widely used tools, so any competent developer can pick it up later: no vendor lock-in and no proprietary platform fees.
What about SEO and performance?
Both are built in from the start, not bolted on. Every site ships with structured data, a sitemap, social preview images and semantic HTML, and we tune Core Web Vitals (loading speed, responsiveness and layout stability) on every release. Fast pages rank better and convert better, so a top Lighthouse score is our baseline, not our goal.
Do you maintain sites after launch?
If you want us to. Most clients keep us on a small monthly retainer for content updates, performance monitoring and new features, with no long contract: cancel any time. If you'd rather run it yourselves, the handover gives your team everything it needs.
