Authect is opening three internships: a Social Media Intern, an Outreach Intern and a Marketing Strategy Intern. All three are unpaid, fully remote and run for an initial three months, and in each one you work directly with the founders. You can read the full descriptions and apply on our careers page.
Authect is a founder-led software development studio: our clients talk to the founders who build their project, never a salesperson. That is a simple message, and we need help telling it well and getting it in front of the right companies. These internships are about exactly that.
The three roles
Social Media Intern
You will help run our channels on LinkedIn, Instagram, X, TikTok and Facebook. That means planning a weekly posting calendar, writing posts and captions in our voice (plain, honest and specific), and turning our blog guides and company news into posts, carousels and short videos, with simple graphics made from our brand kit. You will track what each post achieves, suggest what to do more or less of, and pass questions from comments and messages to the founders, who review and approve what goes out.
We are looking for excellent written English, a good feel for how professional brands communicate on LinkedIn and Instagram, and comfort with a design tool such as Canva or Figma. Short-form video editing is a plus. Read the Social Media Intern role.
Outreach Intern
We do not have salespeople: when a company is interested, it talks straight to the founders. The outreach intern helps start those conversations. You will research companies and decision-makers that match our ideal customer profiles, write personal messages on LinkedIn and email using our pitch kit, follow up politely, and book introductory calls with the founders, handing over clear notes. You will keep our CRM up to date and share what you learn about which messages and markets respond best.
You will need excellent written English with a natural, friendly style, curiosity about businesses and what they need, and the persistence to keep conversations moving. Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or a CRM helps. Read the Outreach Intern role.
Marketing Strategy Intern
This role is about the bigger picture: who we should reach, with what message and through which channels. With the founders, you will research our markets, competitors and ideal customers, help plan campaigns and a content calendar across the website, blog, social media and email, and coordinate with the social media and outreach interns so the messages stay consistent. You will also set up simple reporting on website traffic, leads and campaign results, and suggest improvements to our messaging, landing pages and offers.
It suits someone studying or recently graduated in marketing, business or a related field, with clear, structured thinking and comfort with spreadsheets and basic analytics. Experience with Google Analytics, LinkedIn Ads or SEO tools is a plus. Read the Marketing Strategy Intern role.
What all three have in common
- Unpaid, for an initial three months. These are internships for students and recent graduates who want real, published work and direct experience in B2B marketing and business development.
- Fully remote. You can work from wherever you are, as long as you are organised and reliable working on your own.
- Direct work with the founders. You work with Authect's founders on real projects, not practice tasks, and see how a founder-led software studio wins and serves its clients.
- Work you can show. Where it fits, your work is published under your name, for your portfolio.
- Languages welcome. Excellent written English is required for all three; Spanish, Arabic, Russian or Lithuanian is a plus.
An interest in technology, software or start-ups helps in every role. You do not need to be an engineer: you will learn how software projects are scoped and sold by working next to the people who do it.
Why we are hiring interns now
We have just launched our new website, with service and industry pages, 20 practical guides and a free software cost calculator. There is a lot of good material to share and many companies who might need it. The founders' time is best spent building software for clients, so we want a small team of interns to help plan, write and start the conversations, with the founders reviewing and guiding the work.

How to apply
Each role page has its own application form. Pick the role that suits you best on the careers page, attach your CV and tell us a little about yourself and why the role interests you. If you have examples of your writing, posts or analysis, mention them.
