Authect has a new website. It is built around one idea: when you work with us, you talk to the founders who build your project, never a salesperson or an account manager. Everything on the site, from the service pages to the cost calculator, is written to help you decide whether we are the right team for your software before you ever speak to us.
This post is a short tour of what is on the site at launch, and why we built it the way we did.
Founder-led, said plainly
Authect is a software development studio run by the engineers who founded it. The founders scope each project, write code and answer your messages. Every project is led by a senior engineer. We use AI to speed up the routine parts of delivery, and an engineer reviews every line before it ships. You own the code, the infrastructure and the designs from day one, so nothing is locked to us.
The new site says this once, clearly, and then shows how it works in practice. How we work sets out our three cooperation models (fixed-price projects, monthly sprints, and support and evolution), who is responsible for what in each, and the steps every project follows from the first call to launch. The Trust Centre explains how we handle your code, data and intellectual property.
Every conversation with a client starts online: a video call, email and shared documents. Meeting in person is something we arrange later, once a project is under way. That keeps the first steps quick for you wherever you are, across Europe, the Middle East and beyond.
Services and industries, in detail
Our focus is software development, with AI, security, web, SaaS and mobile apps for iOS and Android as the fields we work in most. The services section groups our work into engineering, advisory, data and AI, optimisation and specialist expertise. Each service page explains what the work covers, the technologies we choose from and when, how an engagement runs, and the trade-offs we talk through with clients, such as how pages are rendered or which architecture suits a product's stage.
The industries section covers the sectors we build for, from fintech, healthcare and government to logistics, retail and e-commerce. Each page describes the kinds of systems that sector needs and the constraints that shape them, such as regulation, accessibility or integration with existing platforms.
Our work section currently shows concept projects, and they are labelled as concepts on every page: blueprints we designed to show how we would approach a clinic booking app, a payments dashboard, AI claims processing, fleet tracking, a storefront platform and a citizen services portal. We will add client case studies as they are approved for publication, and we will not publish anything that is not real.
20 practical guides on the blog
The Insights blog launches with 20 long-form guides for people who are about to buy software development: founders, CTOs, and product and operations leaders. They answer the questions we hear on first calls, honestly, including when you should not build custom software at all. A few starting points:
- Types of software development: an overview of the main kinds of work and how they fit together.
- How much does custom software development cost?: what drives effort, and how estimates are built.
- Custom software vs off-the-shelf: how to decide, including when buying is the better answer.
- How to choose a software development company: the questions worth asking before you sign.
Statistics in the guides link to the source they came from. Where we could not find a reliable source, we left the number out.
Comparison lists, with the criteria shown
We have also published comparison lists of software development companies: for custom software, web, mobile, SaaS and AI development, for startups, and for companies based in Dubai and in Spain. Authect is on several of them, which is exactly why each list shows its ranking criteria in full and links the sources for facts such as ratings and minimum project sizes. Read them as a starting shortlist, then do your own checks.
A free software cost calculator
The software cost calculator asks eight short questions about what you are building and shows a live estimate of the effort in hours, a timeline in weeks and the team you are likely to need. It is plain arithmetic that runs in your browser: no AI, and nothing leaves the page unless you choose to send it. If you do, a founder reviews your answers and replies with a written estimate within one working day. It shows effort rather than prices, because we set budgets per project once we understand the scope.
Built for AI assistants as well as people
More and more buyers start their research by asking an AI assistant. So the site is structured for machines to read accurately, not just for search engines:
- An llms.txt file at authect.com/llms.txt, which tells AI tools what the site contains and how to read it, with a link to every page.
- A Markdown version of every page at its address plus ".md" (for example authect.com/about.md), so an assistant can read the content without the layout around it.
- One full-text file, authect.com/llms-full.txt, with every page's Markdown together.
- Structured data on each page, plus a sitemap and a feed of the latest insights.
The HTML page stays the canonical source to cite. The point is simply that if someone asks an assistant about Authect, it has clean, current facts to work from, and concept projects are flagged as concepts there too.
What comes next
The site is in English for now. We will keep adding guides, news and research write-ups to the blog, and real case studies as clients approve them. If you have a project in mind, tell us what you are building. A founder replies within one working day, and the first conversation is a video call.
Preguntas frecuentes
Who will I speak to if I contact Authect?
A founder. Authect has no salespeople or account managers: the founders who scope your project are the ones who build it, and they reply to every enquiry within one working day.
Do I need to meet the team in person to start?
No. Every client conversation starts online, by video call, email and shared documents. If meeting in person helps, we arrange it later, once the project is under way.
