Good UX lets you launch new products with less risk. We validate ideas with clickable prototypes and real users before development starts, so you invest in the version people actually want, and spend less fixing confusing flows after launch.
We pair clear, attractive visual design with usability that holds up in daily use, grounded in research with your users and your business goals. The founders lead every engagement, and because our engineers sit beside our designers, every design is one we know how to build.
What we do
Our UX design and consulting services
Use the whole process for a new product, or bring us in for the stage you need, from early research to a polished interface ready for development.
User research
We study your business problem and domain, then run interviews, workshops and field visits with stakeholders and users to understand their goals, habits and frustrations. The findings become personas, key insights and a shared understanding of who you're designing for.

Customer journey mapping
We map every step people take to reach their goal, across devices and channels, and mark where they hesitate, get stuck or give up. The map shows your team where design changes will make the biggest difference.

DesignOps and design systems
We set up the design system, component libraries, documentation and ways of working that let designers and developers move fast and consistently, so your product looks and behaves the same everywhere as it grows.

UX workshops
Facilitated sessions with your team and stakeholders to align on goals, prioritise features, map journeys or sketch solutions together. They're the fastest way to turn different opinions into a shared plan.

Sketching and wireframing
We explore layouts and flows quickly in sketches and low-fidelity wireframes, so ideas can be compared and changed cheaply before any visual polish or code.

Rapid prototyping
Clickable prototypes that look and feel like the real product let you test ideas with users, demo to investors and align your team in days, before committing to development.

Usability testing
We watch real users try your product or prototype, moderated or remote, and turn what we see into a prioritised list of fixes. We also run expert reviews of existing products against established usability and accessibility principles.

Visual design and art direction
We give your product a distinctive, accessible visual language, from typography, colour and iconography to illustrations and motion, applied consistently across every screen and handed over in a form developers can build from directly.

Customer feedback
Working with Authect transformed our digital infrastructure. Their engineering team delivered our complex trading algorithm platform two weeks ahead of schedule without sacrificing code quality or security compliance. The seamless communication and deep technical expertise made them a true strategic partner.

What you can achieve with UX design and consulting
- 01
Launch new products the smart way
Prototypes and user testing let you validate a concept quickly and cheaply, and shape the product around real feedback before the expensive part begins.
- 02
Make your business more efficient
We study how employees use your internal tools, find the steps that waste their time and redesign them, so everyday work takes fewer clicks and fewer mistakes.
- 03
Increase satisfaction and loyalty
Attractive design draws people in, but usability is what keeps them. Research into real pain points lets us design experiences that people return to and recommend.
- 04
Put emerging technology to good use
We design AI features, assistants and agents so they're genuinely helpful and trustworthy, with clear feedback, sensible defaults and a way for people to stay in control.
- 05
Make UX your differentiator
When products and prices are similar, the one that's easiest and most pleasant to use wins. A thoughtful experience becomes part of your brand.
Deliverables
What you receive from a UX engagement
Every engagement ends with artefacts your team can use, not just a presentation. Depending on the scope, these are the deliverables you can expect.
Research findings
Interview insights, personas and the evidence behind every design decision.
Journey maps
The current and future journeys, with the pain points and opportunities marked.
Information architecture
Navigation, content structure and user flows that make the product easy to find your way around.
Wireframes
Annotated layouts for every key screen and state, agreed before visual design begins.
Clickable prototype
An interactive model of the product for testing, demos and stakeholder sign-off.
Usability report
What users struggled with, why, and a prioritised list of fixes.
Design system
Reusable components, styles and guidelines that keep the product consistent as it grows.
Developer handoff
Specifications, assets and support during build, so the shipped product matches the design.

FAQs
UX design and consulting FAQs
What is UX design?
UX design, or user experience design, is the practice of designing products that are easy, efficient and pleasant to use. It covers research into users' needs, the structure and flow of the product, interaction design, visual design and testing with real people, so that the final product meets both user and business goals.
How does UX design affect customer satisfaction?
When people can do what they came to do quickly and without confusion, they're more satisfied, more likely to come back and more likely to recommend you. Poor UX shows up as abandoned sign-ups, support tickets and churn, even when the product itself is strong.
What does a UX consultant do?
A UX consultant reviews your product and your users' experience, identifies what's holding it back and recommends improvements. That can mean running research and usability tests, auditing an existing product, facilitating workshops or guiding your in-house designers, and often designing the solutions as well.
What's the difference between UX and UI design?
UX design is about the overall experience: what the product does, how it's structured and how people move through it. UI design is about the interface itself: the look of screens, components, typography and colour. We do both, so the product works well and looks good.
Can you also build the product you design?
Yes. Our designers and engineers work as one team, so designs are realistic to build and the developers understand the intent behind them. You can also take the designs, prototypes and design system to your own team, as they're yours from day one.
